Free Courses in Emergency Life Support

Simple Skills Saving Lives

Life threatening emergencies happen every day.  Heartstart Brackley offers the Community of Brackley and surrounding area the opportunity to learn vital skills which could help them save someone’s life, whether it is a friend, neighbour or member of their family.

Heartstart Brackley is a scheme associated with the British Heart Foundation. It teaches members of the public Emergency Life Support skills (basic life support). The course lasts for two hours and is free to local members of the public.

It is vital that we all know what to do to help keep someone alive in an emergency. A bystander, often a relative or friend with no medical expertise is likely to be the first person on the scene. Learning the simple skills that saves lives through Heartstart can make all the difference.

Whether you're a member of the local community, a teacher at a school, the leader of a community group or sports club, or a local business, we can arrange a training session for you.

Public courses are arranged at community venues in Brackley and the surrounding villages on a regular basis, please see our forthcoming events page or contact us directly.

Courses for schools, groups, clubs and businesses are organised by arrangement and can be run at your own premises, or we can arrange a suitable venue accordingly.
